    Very Helpful Tool

    No more dragging watches to the jewelry store to pay a lot of money to change a battery. Batteries are very cheap (on eBay and in general). The tool pays for itself after a couple of uses.

    Made in China, not Switzerland

    The good part about this kit is the pins. Real Jaxa pins can cost $10 or more on ebay per pin. Here I got 18 pins for less than $7.00, and they do fit the real Jaxa watch opener tool. The pins appear to be well made. The Chinese tool is not well made, comparing it to the Jaxa tool. The flat steel is half the thickness. The pin holders have twice as much movement as the Jaxa tool. Overall buy the kit for the pins, but the tool is poor, and you may scratch up the back of your watch using it. Another copy of the Jaxa tool is made in India, and I do not own it. You may want to check it out. Also, the real Jaxa pins slide into the holder so don't get the pins that screw in. They probably will not fit a real Jaxa tool.

    Essential Tool to access your screw-on watch back

    This tool comes with a selection of attachments for different watches. It is easy to use and essential to unscrew tightly fitting screw-on backs as I found. The back of my watch was very tightly fastened and took some effort to unscrew it. The tool worked without slipping.

    The metal tips are meant to fit the indents on the back of my Tag Heuer are all different sizes and shapes. Most are round. Leaving one that is the same shape/size. I tried to use a smaller square tip and a rectangular shape but the machining on one left a rough edge that needs to be filed. The wrench sockets to hold the tips shake because they are on an adjustable axis so you need 1 hand to press on the back of the wrench and 1 to turn without turning the adjustment in the handle meaning you need to buy a case clamp and put that in a vise before this can have a chance of working.
