My 19 year old cat will not get into an outdoor shed where we have heating pads for our cats. So, i bought the unheated kitty house, put a heating pad inside it and placed it next to our house where she usually sleeps on a heat pad. She soon realized that it is cozy and warm inside the house, so she sleeps inside it on cold, windy nights. It only took a few times of being put inside for her to love her new house! And i can go OOT in the winter, leaving her in the care of a pet sitter, and not worry about her getting cold!

So happy with this house! It was quick and easy to assemble, lightweight yet sturdy, and most importantly the cat loves it. It has two door flaps which might come in handy during warmer months but for now I sealed one off to retain heat. It will be easy to clean and reassemble as needed. The size is just right for this cat who seems to be about 13 lbs. I also put a covered hot water bottle in with her and she's in the house everyday and night now. Highly recommend this for anyone with feral/outdoor cats!

Using this on my back porch...easy to assemble, great quality. Worth every penny knowing that the outside cat has a warm place to go, even when he’s too dumb to use it.

I think it is great but my little feral girl hasn't gone in it yet. I moved her food to right in front of it and put some treats in it tonight. Any other suggestions? How about putting hay in it? I want the flaps to open so wasn't sure.

Good. It meets my needs for inside a catio for a deaf blind cat to feel more secure but it is only sufficient if it's not out in the elements. It wouldnt provide enough protection from the rain, wind or snow.
