    Worth the money I spent

    I loved these cartoons. I remember watching them when I was small and with my children in The Disney Channel's golden years (80's-90's). I'm glad to see them all in one place. I had never seen the Alice shorts, so they were interesting in a historical context.

    Disney Rarities-Celebrated Shorts 1920-1960

    This is one of those DVD's filled with fun and nastalgia. It contains hand fulls of all those good old Disney shorts. At first glance you may think,due to the time frame, that you could never know these stories,you'd be surprised. My 26 yr old son even knows them, "Lambert the Sheepish Lion". Alot of these movies are found seperately on full length features. It is great that Disneey put them all on one disc. Let's face it someof those shorts are the best part of the disc, Pixar is great for it's shorts. So, if you'd enjoy a walk down memory lane, filled with laughter and smiles. This is a great choice for you. Oh ya, they make a great item also.

    A favorite for our 2 year old and his parents!

    So many great little shorts! My two year old has an old "Lambert the Sheepish Lion" book, and after him wanting to watch the original on YouTube multiple times we decided to go ahead and get this set. I was surprised at how many I remembered, and how much my son loves almost all of them. Our favorites are "Lambert" "Toot, Whistle, Plunk, Boom" "The Little House," "Morris the Midget Moose," "The Windwagon Saga," "Goliath II," "Paul Bunyan," and the stop motion "Noah's Ark." Some really great work on these disks, and so fun to watch.

    Good memories.

    Wow. This brought back a lot of memories. My sisters and I used to watch many of the cartoon shorts featured on these dvd's over and over. I bought this for my older sister for Christmas, and we had the best time watching it together. I had been looking for a few of the cartoons, such as "The Truth About Mother Goose" and "Paul Bunyan", for quite some time and was happy to find many of them on this one collection. There were others I had completely forgotten about. Disney is brilliant, especially some of these older ones. Buy and enjoy.
