This is a 2 disc collection of matches from one of Sports Entertainment's biggest and hottest stars, Triple H. Call him The Game, call him the Cerebral Assassin, call him what you will but one fact stays the same. He is the King of Kings, and he is "That Damn Good!" ALL of the matches are flawless, at least on his part and they are all benchmarks in his career for one reason or another. Before every match The Game covers what was going on in his career at that point, both in and out of the ring. He talks about getting into Wrestling, his early years, going to WWF, winning the I.C. Title, winning King of the Ring, The Curtain Call, meeting Chyna, leaving DX, McMahon-Helmsley Era, his injury and return, Shawn's comeback, the rise of Batista, relationship with Ric Flair, how he feels about guys like Edge & Cena, and his feuds with Foley, Austin, Shawn, Flair & more. Now, I won't review every match, there's not enough space first of all, and second it's just not fair because I am a HUGE mark for Triple H. So it's impossible for me to be unbiased. I am however disappointed in a few things. It's only 2 discs, when it should have been at least 3, there are no WCW matches, and there are a few matches that should have been on here, but are not like Triple H vs. Cactus Jack at the Royal Rumble for example. Other than that, this is a fantastic DVD set and I highly recommend it to ANY wrestling fan!! All matches are as follows... Triple H vs. John Crystal (1995) Triple H vs. Marc Mero (Intercontinental Championship) Triple H vs. Mankind (King of the Ring 1997) Triple H vs. Owen Hart (WrestleMania XIV) Triple H vs. Mankind (WWF Championship) Triple H vs. Steve Austin (No Holds Barred - WWF Championship) Triple H vs. Cactus Jack (Hell in a Cell - Career vs. Title) Royal Rumble 2002 Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels (2 out of 3 Falls - World Heavyweight Championship) Triple H vs. Batista (Hell in a Cell - World Heavyweight Championship) Triple H vs. Ric Flair (Last Man Standing) Triple H vs. Edge vs. John Cena (WWE Championship) Triple H vs. Henrey O. Godwinn (Bonus Match) Terra Ryzing (Triple H) vs. Flying Tony Roy (Triple H's First Professional Match) If this review was helpful, insightful or informative, please rate it accordingly to help other eBay members see it. Not a bad DVD collection at all! If your a fan of The King of Kings as I'am then this is the DVD collection to have. Wish it was an overall overview much like Dwayne The Rock Johnson's collection was but it def hits a good note with some of Triple H's greatest matches to include a little conversation about the matches themselves/significants behind them. All hail the King and one of the best to ever do it.
I decided to buy this item for the simple fact I am a huge wrestling fan and Triple H is one of the best in the business and I wanted to hear his story. Overall its a good DVD with some good matches but I wouldve liked to have seen more promos and interviews. My favorite match was from No Mercy 1999 when he defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Everything agout this dvd was kick ass. It made me think about where I was when all those great matches happenned.I'm a little bias because I'm a huge Triple H fan and have for a long time but this DVD would be great for any wrestling fan any age.....my 2yr.son spitz water every time he hears Triple HHH's intro.....maybe the next King of Kings.
Just awesome dvd
