I bought this tool specifically for installing window blinds where the brackets have screws that mount tight against the side of the window frame. A regular drill can't get close enough to the side pf the window, and you end up drilling the holes at an angle. I actually used this tool as both a drill and screwdriver. It had plenty of power to drill into wood, the only issue is that the "chuck" is not designed to hold a drill bit. I used drill bits that have a hex base, and they drilled fine, but it's a bit tricky to extract the bit once you're done drilling. That said, it still worked great and I was able to get a nice, straight hole right next to the frame. The extendable tip is also really nice and works great for setting screws that are recessed or in tight places.

Have not used it on any projects yet so cannot really comment on its power, effectiveness etc. Its design is a combo of pistrol grip and straight layout which is a benefit; the extender is a bonus for many situations. No comment on the battery life as I've not used it yet but did fully charge it upon recept. The down side IMO is the handle; for me it is slightly too short; easy to slip out of my hand. Aside from that I would probably have give it 4-5 stars.

This is a very good little tool for around the house or otherwise. Easy to use, powerful, has a GREAT built in sliding extension which is brilliant. AWESOME. But the one thing they need to fix is......... the built-in light does not come on prior to the driver starting. My old one from Black & Decker (which I hated) had a 2 step trigger. When you first pull the trigger the light come on but the bit does not turn, allowing you to aim the bit where you want it. Then you pull it back to the fullest and the driver turns. This 2 step light/driver trigger allows you to see where you are going before the driver turns. Besides this light issue, the tool is still pretty badazz for small jobs around the house.

The extended reach is a big plus and the wireless feture makes it portable for inside or outside work. It is rechargeable with just a plug in. So no battery replacement. The only drawbacks are that it isn't as strong as a power drill and the extension wobbles a bit.

For the 20 bucks I paid for this battery operated screwdriver it's a get deal. That's not say it's a cheap product it's does the job. I have to unscrew hundreds of screws in a week and that a job I used to dread. Doing it with the Worx Extended Reach Screwdriver makes it a breeze. Lots of power to remove stubborn screws. Fits great in my hand and has a good weight. Battery charges pretty quick. Bottom line handy tool for my use and maybe yours.
