This has truly been an eye opening and life changing book. It took a few weeks for it to soak in the enormity of the change I would have to make in my eating style. Then I started changing a few things, changed my cooking style, added some supplements, and the truth started to unfold. I am diabetic, and take 3 different meds 2 times a day, so I am constantly monitoring my glucose levels. Within two weeks I felt more energetic, I cut out 1/2 my pills, and my glucose levels stay within 80-125 range all day, and most importantly my morning glucose has been between 100-115! I'm astounded. My glucose used to be 150-170 fasting, and depending on what I would eat during the day would stay in those ranges (even with the meds). I also have MS, but cannot say how this is affecting me at this point. I can say that I am embarking on a new chapter in my life that I intend to be much healthier, and use much less medications! I would highly recommend this book and this diet to anyone who is tired of being sick, and rundown.
