These phones are easy to set up and easy to use. The answering machine voice is easy to understand, unlike some computer generated voices. If your phone line is via cable you will need to purchase an adaptor first to be compatable, otherwise it works fine on a regular land line. The screen lights up in a dark pea green with black letters overtop, and I found that I would prefer a better contrast, but other than that the phones are great.
bought these because my 4 phone system was old enough that one stopped working, the battery charged and I synched it no problem.

The set up is quick and easy, menus are simple, speaker phone is excellent, display is good. One thing I haven't found yset is how to increase the volume using the headset. I'm very happy with the product.
