My aging vizio E3D420VX has has some issues over the years. Last year I had to replace the main board due to failure to boot, now the backlight power stage has been getting louder and louder. Lazy to hunt for the exact coil that was making the whine I replaced it with this board and it's happy as can be. 5 minutes to crack open the TV again and replace the power board. The CCFL tubes themselves still make a little noise, but the coil whine is gone. I'm pleased with the board and don't understand how people rate it 1 star because they can't be bothered to research.
