This beginners guitar is light years ahead of anything I had to choose from when I was starting out. The areas that usually suffer on cheap guitars are not neglected here. The finish has a couple of minor blemishes which is why it's sold as a demo but they don't detract from the otherwise excellent finish. The fretwork is very good with only a slight buzz on 1 note on 1 string. it was even set up and only needed to be put in tune out of the box. The only other complains are a slightly thick neck ( ok for me but newbies with small hands beware) and an ugly headstock shape. Even the pickup seems reasonably good. If this guitar is indicative of the overall quality of this brand then anyone looking for a good starter guitar can feel confident they are making a good choice in choosing this Guitar.Read full review

The guitar is neck heavy and wont stay in your lap when sitting down to play. The pickup is weak and non-remarkable. The neck is decent, but the fretboard is almost unfinished and the strings that the guitar comes with turned the fretboard almost black after 5 minutes of playing. The electronics were ok, but the cable jack cuts in and out by just pressing a bit on it with one finger. I bought this guitar as a project to work on and work on it I have been! I've now straightened the neck a good bit, cleaned and conditioned the fretboard, adjusted the pickup and tightened everything in the electronics cavity, put a new set of .009 hybrids on it and adjusted the action and intonation. It plays acceptably now and all it needs is a good, decent quality pickup on it and it'll do perfectly well for a beginner until they're ready to move up to a 500 - 1000 dollar model. All of this was done (inc. pickup) for less than 100.00 including the cost of the guitar, so it's a good deal in my book.Read full review

I got this guitar for $16.30 plus shipping an she had only minor perfections in the finish. I set it up which was no problem as I have worked on my guitars for over forty years. Had to mount new strings (old ones were terrible), adjust the bridge height and intonation and also lower the pickup. It was way too high and caused a very gravelly sound. Also adjusted tension on the neck (string height). But she is now playing great! Love Her!

For an inexpensive guitar it's a pretty good player. Great for my son just learning.
