It is easy to use but some detail is needed when placing it .Be sure to use auto tune for stations after every move with antenna it does matter. I did try adjustments while tv was on but saw no instant response to quality of picture. Unfortunetly receiption in my area due to buildings and trees cuts down on some available channels . Not a fault of antenna. It is not a mirecal device so effort in setup is required.

I bought this as it was what I needed to get the majority of my local stations on my HDTV. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. It hasn't picked up any of my local stations and yet it states that it will pick up to 65 miles away. NOT! I bought a more expensive one just like it with the same type of amplifier and only a 40 mile range and get ALL of my local stations 14 in all. I would not recommend this product. While it is a good value, and easy to use it does not live up to its promise.

I live in an apartment so I have to have something inside. I have bought 3 different brands the Moho cost about $50 and it pick up good but it is in the window facing west, which is the direction of most stations. The folsom picks up good but it is outside the window in a shrub. This window faces north so it only picks up 2 stations if it is in the window. Outside it faces west and picks up 9 stations but some are iffy. This ViewTV is in my living room near a north facing window and is picking up 9 stations very well. My apartment building is brick I think that might have a lot to do with the reception. At the price I paid for this antenna it is as good as the $50 one. I would recommend this antenna but you must be able to try different locations and scan for channels each time. I really like that this one has a bracket or stand to set it up but I had to use a book to get it to stand up properly. I also purchased an Amazon fire stick and now have said good bye to over $100 satellite bills forever. You owe it to yourself to try this and put some effort into finding the best location for it in your home. Good Luck. Cha-ching!Read full review

I am not some kid who has never see the back end of a TV before. I have been around a long time and this has to be one of the worst products I have ever bought. Oh, I am not asking for a refund. I am going to letting it circulate among my friends and let word of mouth get out including my children so that there will be more witnesses as to how awful this thing is. The stand doesn't even work! I lost 19 channels when I connected this thing to my TV. Thank goodness my old on is still working, so I reconnected the old one and got everything back to normal. SHAME ON THE MANUFACTURER. This should in no way reflect on the sellers. Then have no way to test all these products, but the people who made this should take another look at this product and remove it from the market.

I bought the antenna thinking I was cutting the cable. I have to have internet, but I didn't want to pay the cable company's high prices for TV. I rent, so I could not put up an outside antenna. I wanted the local stations for news and certain stations, but that did not happen. I have to constantly move the antenna around to different spots in the room to get 2 channels. Even then, I can be watching something in the am and the antenna picks up differently in the pm. Some days, 1 station does not come in at all. I am only 30 miles from the 2 stations. I do not get any stations 50-60 miles away. Very disappointing!!!! Now I still have to pay $30.00 to the cable company just to get the news and some basic channels. Definitely, not as advertised!!!!!!
