A faithful miniature to the on screen Y-wing fighter seen in the Star Wars movies. It is a small kit, but is highly detailed and wonderfully easy to assemble. It is more accurate and detailed than the older, larger MPC kit. The only lows are that the kit supplied markings; they are stickers, which seem toy-like when compared to the exquisitely beautiful detail on the kit. Aftermarket water slide decals are the way to go.

Bandai kits are astounding and full of detail, even for something in such a small scale these kit's are such a joy to assemble. These kits are made to be snap together kits, but you can use some thin Tamiya cement to glue the parts together if you're worried about pieces falling off. Molded in colour close to studio models so you have the option to just leave as is or paint it for a more personal touch. Comes with colour stickers for the call-sign markings. Great of all ages and skill levels of modellers.

Blown away by the amount of detail and accuracy Bandai managed to mold into this kit. Almost as good as the 1/72 version, but yet half the size. Easy to assemble. Only negative for some people would be the stickers as opposed to water-slide decals. But, in this scale, it really doesn't make a difference IMHO. This kit might be small, but it's well worth the price.
