I realize this is considered the "bible" of Nippon collecting. However, I bought it to try to identify the dates of various Nippon marks. Although it has several pages of marks, almost none of them have dates. And like most books of this type, there are way too many pages of examples of Nippon's art. It's nothing more than a coffee table book. Not valuable as a reference tool.

The beauty and complete history of Nippon is so clearly explained in this book, you would have to be a dummy to not see the difference between the real thing and the fakes after reading this !!
