Best blender I have ever owned. It is still loud but blends so quickly that it only takes about 30 seconds to make a concoction of any kind. More than enough power for anything I've made. The tamper is really a help to get ingredients blending. The pulse only speeds up a little bit and seems of little value. The timed settings are great to use.

I’ve had other blenders including a blentec. The Vitamix is by far the best blender I’ve ever had. It is undaunted by even large quantities of hard material like coffee beans and dried cracked polypore. It’s amazing, grinding up in seconds which would other wise take hours

I love my new Vitamix. Had it for 3 months now and it is still great. There is a bit of a learning curve to it at first, but once your comfortable with it, you'll never go back. I make a lot of green smoithies and the difference between this and my old Ninja is night and day. The Vitamix makes my green smoothies so creamy and smooth. No more diced leafy chunks or chewing of my smoothies. I also make black bean brownie batter that people are shocked when I tell them it has black beans in it. No beany grainy texture here! Same with the hummus and other purees I've made. Just bought the dry container so that I can try making my own flours and almomd milk. Yes this is an expensive purchase that cost as almost as much a my refrigerator. It is also worth it, because I use it almost as much. It changed how I cook and prep, making things easier and faster. It's an investment for sure, but if you cook a lot from scratch, or make a lot of smoothies or soups, trust me this is worth every penny. It's a solid investment in your health and time. Couple of notes: the self cleaning is a snap, but make sure to put just a drop of dish soap in a half full container of water, especially if you're using 2x dawn. Otherwise, it will overflow under the lid with bubbles. The presets are great to start with, but I use the maual dial more for thicker, stickier batters on like 3-4. This 64oz container is still pretty tall. It doesn't sit under my cabinets (my cabniets are ~24in tall). Even the 32oz container doesn't fit. I'd recommend getting a smaller 32oz or 48oz if you often only make recipes that are less than 2 cups, as the wider base of this 64oz container will not blend thebsmaller volumes well. I have a fam of 4 so I rarely have a prob, but it's prob the most common complaint about this new 64oz low profile containers. The tamper is your friend do not be afraid to use it! It gets my stuff blending again when it stalls on an air pocket. I researched a lot on the model of bleder I wanted. I highly recomnend looking at the different ones to decide your needs. This is a great model, but the classic series is also just as good for a much cheaper price, if you're just starting out with a tight budget.Read full review

Love program feature while still using variable speeds and pulse action, compact container, super easy cleanup. Easy-t-follow instructions. Making soups never been easier. Healthy shakes everyday! Replaced three of my appliances.

The Vitamix Professional Series 750 Blender has 5 pre-programmed settings on it. I use the pre-programmed setting for making smoothies the most in the mornings when I remember to get up early in the morning. I hope in the future to get a book on whole foods that can be used with the Vitamix Blender.
