Since apple took over beats, the 2nd gen studio wireless are sleek, not bulky and noise cancellating is a great feature. Good bass and hidden buttons make the clean look. Bluetooth connectivity can be inconsistent when using over-ear controls. Overall, worth the money and performance better than competitors. Just make sure you don't get scammed into purchasing fake beats studios. There's a lot of them out there.

In my opinion it’s not worth the value. I should have purchased in a retail store so I could have brought them back to either get a new one or repaired the headphones.

The sound is good but a bit muddy. The design and build quality is great. Price is on the high side, there is a lot of options sounding equally good or better so mostly if you care about the design or get a great deal are the headphones recommendable. The biggest drawback is that the headphones do not work if the AAA batteries are depleted. Probably in the fine print product description but that was bad news to me after the purchase. Then again there are many places to buy AAA. Just make sure you are not on an airplane crossing an ocean. The second big upset was that the remote I received did not have volume control as depicted on their homepage. If you read the fine print it says features may very(you don't get what you pay for). I was upset and tried work it out with beats audio. They sent me a cable but it had a glitch so it shifted between mono and stereo. When I complained then they said they will send me yet another one. I got 3! One straight, one without volume control and finally the one that was advertised in working order!! Wow that is nice, but there is a but. The other one without the volume (that I did not want) was dirty, partly covered in dirt. I find it strange. Either the person doing returns was annoyed by me that I wanted to have what was advertised an perceived me a as a overly demanding customer or they just do not care about the stuff they send out. You be the judge. i still think that if they have a description on their home page together with a picture you should not receive something inferior.Read full review
I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. He had been asking for them for a while. They came and he loved them. They sounded great. The only issue was the speaker cushions, the leather looking material rubbed off very easily, when I opened the package some had already come off.

For different situations I use high end in-the-canal and on-the-ear earbuds and relatively hi-fi open back ear phones. That said, the Beats do a uniquely great job of blocking out the noise, providing high fidelity and adding a nice base beat to my rock n roll tracks. They also seem to stay glues to my head during the sweaty workout sessions.
