The 2nd full released from Sacramento based OLEANDER is a solid sophomore effort. Features the semi-smash hit "Champion," plus "Halo" & "Tight Rope," UNWIND finds the band becoming more of a hard rock outfit rather than an alt-rock one. This band was a little ahead of their time in that respect and unfortunately after 2004 they were no more. Still I've found their first two full length releases FEBRUARY SON & UNWIND quite good and I feel that OLEANDER went overlooked, and under appreciated. I give UNWIND 4 out of 5 stars.
Unfortunately, this is not a good album. There are only three songs that I love or like. The rest just does not impress me. Like their previous album, this one is also a letdown.
