This multi-Tool is not a toy. We have tested ever function and it works as intended. However... 1) The axe is only secured to the handle by the spring detente pin on either the knife or saw. During heavy chopping test the axe came separated from the handle on occasion. The axe also serves as a hammer and worked fairly well for that. It is also capable of breaking auto glass. Note there is no protective cover for the axe blade edge, it is just stored blade edge out in an open pocket in the shovel cover. If you sharpen the edge, as I did, be extra careful removing it from the pocket. 2) The shovel works fairly well. However it is secured to the handle by the same detente spring pin. After digging in muddy wet dirt the handle and shovel become clogged with dirt. Also note that the short handle doesn't provide much leverage and you should not be planning to dig a very deep hole. 3) The knife blade is long and sharp but very thin and flexible with two notches in the back that can serve as bottle openers. It is stored in one end of the shovel handle and is difficult to remove. It has a spring detente pin to affix it to the hole in the handle, and looks like a spear when installed. But don't try it! The blade is not strong enough as a spear. 4) Lastly the saw. It works well but is secured using only the detente pin and is thin like the knife blade. Light sawing only. So, good as a light duty emergency survival tool. Put one in your car trunk, but not for serious outdoor work.Read full review

I have bought several of these and gave them to friends they were so handy. The earlier models did not have the knife so look carefully when buying. These are better than the hollow handle tomahawk multitool. The screw together combos are weak at the screw joint and WILL STRIP and break with heavy usage. The tools on this model slide OVER the handle and a snap spring button holds in place. The tools on this was a little loose for my liking so I wrapped the handle with 1 layer of stainless tape to take up the "slop". Still, the very best value for the money.

In theory this is a really great tool. Where they went wrong is have China manufacture it. The handle is super thin sheet metal. The attachments are held together by rivets. While not totally wrong they should also be welded to secure them to the attachment. You can tell the metal is cheaper and is an alloy. The mistake I made is not researching this tool before purchase. I saw videos on a certain social media site where the tools basically fell apart or just broke in use. Not even being abused. Do your research on multiple sites looking at reviews and videos and you will come to the conclusion that it is not worth the money.

Bought this set to go to take my family on first camping trip. The hatchet part of the unit fell off continously as I tried to cut firewood to start a fire.

I bought one and other family members and my neighbor saw it and lived this tool. I ordered six more. I definitely Highly Recommend. Teresa
