In the last two years I switched from Titleist to the Ping i15 which was one of the most consitant drivers I have ever hit. I thought I would just go try the i20 for fun, but it felt so nice I purchased it. I am a steady 5-6 handicap and purchased a 9.5 with the stock 707 stiff shaft. This stock shaft is better than most OEM shafts for sure. Seems very stable, and gives a beautiful medium height ball flight. One strenght with Ping drivers is even miss hits go far, gotta love that. I likely hit this driver 5-10 yards longer than the i15, but what I like most is the great sound and feel when you strike the ball. I'm 59 and consistantly carry in the 275 range with this club. Love this club, also purchased the fairways and hybrid (all awesome) as well. The flat black finish is a hit with all my golf buddies, everyone thinks it looks great.Read full review

The driver has been the weekest part of my game until I purchased the Ping i20 9.5* w/Project X 6.0 shaft, I have tried the adjustable driver and just couldn't find it, I became very frustrated. The Ping i20 driver sets perfectly behind the ball and I love the sound & feel of this club. This is a low spin driver with a mid launch penetrating trajectory and perfect landing angle. This club is very forgiving with a neutral bias and easy to work the ball with, a real fairway finder, the ball will just hit the fairway running. It produced the best numbers on the launch monitor for my swing. It has restored my confidence off the tee again, this seriously is the best driver I have ever played!
I bought the driver because it matched a set of irons I wanted. When I read the reviews I appreciated the fact that it was made for me. I typically hit the ball very high but not quite as far on my drives. This club was made to help correct that very issue. I am pleased with the club itself. Working on my own game. Club is titanium with steel inserts. Important to understand that. When I saw the reference to steel on the club head cover before doing research I started to throw it out immediately. It is Titanium technology with steel added in the sole plate for weighting purposes.
This club has classic Ping driver feel to it. The project x shaft has helped my flight to become more penetrating with less "ballooing". The matte finish on the head is very appealing to the eye. A nice change from the new wave of Taylor Made. Overall I am very happy with my switch from the Nike brand of driver.
