In the name of social engineering, professions made an alliance with the instrumental reason and turned their ability into a mere possession of technical kwledge. This book casts a glance on social science, considering ethics as a practice embedded in human relations, rather that a metaphysic construction. In a social context that sharpens the poles of exclusion and integration, this text asserts the possibility to achieve a social model where cooperation, participation and practical kwledge is recovered by the social actors.
