I like the quality of the riser. Most all the rev 6 blue PCIE Risers had nice soldering connections and haven't melted. I've only had one card which it didn't like working with and that card didn't like any risers of any version 3 or 6.

The USB3 cables are really bad quality, after alot of debugging and tinkering only 5 out of 6 risers worked ( actually cables ). If you're looking to buy choose some quality products or buy 1-2 more for spare. Never hurts to have a spare wheel on your bitcoin train.

For about a week now it's working very well!!! But the power cable should be used on this device only!!! Because the RED five volt is marked AWG18 but it is really AWG26 and the YELLOW twelve volt is marked AWG18 but it is really only AWG28. Now AWG means American Wire Gauge and the YELLOW insulation marked AWG18 has an insulation PINK inside this YELLOW insulation with only wire that is AWG28 and the RED insulation has an insulation RED inside this RED insulation that is marked AWG18 but the wire is only AWG26. So that's why to only use this POWER CABLE on this device!!! This picture shows what I mean. Oops I left out the ground BLACK wires and the have a BLACK insulation inside the BLACK insulation you see and the AWG18 is really AWG28 Again picture shows that as well bechase55

Even though i bought the riser for a testbench, not mining, it works as intended :) I'm even able to get a video feed to my monitor, when the riser is fitted into a PCIe 1x
