The camera is great value for daytime but night time and zoom quality is just acceptable. You will need to consider paying more if you are after quality IR zoom/focus. The camera features all work as described and simple POE connection makes it plug & play.

I have 3 of these and I have replace all three. They last about 1 to 2 years, which is why they don't get a 5 star rating. I have had the PTZ fail on two cameras and the focus has failed on a third one. They are easy to setup. I have all three of them on a "patrol" path (they move from side to side). The PTZ is easy to use in manual mode as well, which is great for watching my neighbours. I like the cameras, but the failure rate so far is 100%. They continued to work even on nights when the temp dropped to -40 degrees. All there are connected to a Hikvision NVR.

Pan, tilt and zoom with IVMS-4200 on your smartphone. POE power or local power options. RS-422, alarm and sound option connections. Excellent wide dynamic range. Very low lux rating. H265+. Low cost electrical style and pendant style mounts (for wall mounted applications) available from Hikvision. Weatherproof. It is a bit on the heavy side, so mounting on an acoustical tile ceiling would require a brace on the back of the tile.

I've had this one running on a remote location far north in Norway since august last year (set up towards a NAS-unit and Surveillance Station). I honestly didn't expect much of a product as inexpensive as this, but boy, I'm positively surprised. It has worked perfectly during a cold winter, many days below -15 Celsius, without any hickups. Great firmware on this one, easy to configure and much better than my other camera, a more than twice as expensive Trendnet IP311PI. I recommend this product!

To find a decent PTZ around 180 $ is a good value...and at 3MP this little dome is worth the money...Hikvision cameras are of good quality... This camera is rated at 4 times zoom , but it will go out to 8 times zoom also with decent picture quality...I am using it for license plate recognition...it does well if you adjust the shutter to 1/2000...I also own many Hikvision cameras including the 4K video resolution.. The camera has a lot of tweaking ability in it's web browser software... The auto focus works well when panning , tilting and zooming... and the option to adjust how you want the camera to focus , ie. manual , auto , semi-auto... I would recommend this camera , yes...
