At the sub $30 price range I think we might have a gaming headset that is actually of good value for once. Build quality is painfully plastic but at $29 that is acceptable. Pads are stiff but likely replaceable so you can always buy a set of brainwavez pads instead. Wireless has a slight hiss but while playing games or audio you can't hear it. Microphone is acceptable, not great but not horrifically awful either. Audio has a plastic quality to it but as testing this on my PC I would be alright to say that it seems fairly neutral for once. Usually these things have elevated highs and low end making games sound like bloated whales screeching on a beach but not this headset. Playing a bit of CS:GO on my PC with the new HRTF sounded fairly clear with decent detail (No, this won't beat a pair audiophile headphones you will want better cans for that) . Sound stage was enough also for a closed back pair of plastic cans that cost less then $30. What else is there to say about this? Distance was alright also. To me, this should be the go-to headphones for people who want play their PC games on the living room with a steam controller at night to not disturb people who are sleeping. If you are planning on playing on a desk then you know there is better options already and you should be hunting down a pair of wired headphones. (kingston's offerings are actually good and they are entry level audiophile quality) But when you simply wanna play on a TV these are actually nice for the price. Again, no these are not amazing headphones, you can do better in actual sound quality for even $20 more you could get the takstar HI2050 but looks like they been discontinued sadly, $30 bags you a pair of phillips shp9500s which decimates this but those don't have the versatility that this does and neither of those have a microphone and they are not wireless. And that alone makes this worthwhile in my book.Read full review

Very poor quality sound. Virtually no low end and the high end is screechy. I am using this on PC and had to download a third party equalizer just to get these to the point where I could tolerate listening to anything on it and it still doesn't sound as good as most headsets do right out of the box. It's as if there's some sort of built in loudness equalization that you can't turn off and it nearly cuts out certain frequencies. Beyond the sound, the padding is very hard and has no give at all. These are very uncomfortable to wear for long periods and I have been forced to add extra padding. They also have absolutely no noise cancellation - you can clearly hear people talking anywhere in your vicinity and the sound from the headset can be clearly heard by others nearby. Maybe the presets (which are completely disabled when plugged into PC but can be used on console) make these sound better but these have poorer quality sound than dollar store headphones. The only reason I am keeping these is because I have the custom EQ to make them tolerable and I really need the convenience of wireless. I do not recommend them.Read full review

I use these on my PC. They plug and play, just make sure you go in and change your sound settings. My voice is crystal clear, for better or worse, on these. Sound is great. Bass is punchy and deep without being annoying or distorted. Voices are clear. I use these for work too, on Skype. I got refurbs at a deep discount, and the ones I've been using are over 2 years old now, and still going strong.

Everything is so easy to work and understand. Love the extra long cords for using in wired mode. Comfortable fit around on the ears. Sound is great!

The multi-platform feature is a real money saver! 7/10 audio quality, 8/10 mic, and overall a very wise, and fantastic purchase. The color is fitting for any gamers battle station. My only complaint would be to add a little more cushion on the top of the headset, but nevertheless it is still a comfortable fit. The earpads were comfortable, with a nice snug feeling, and fit nicely over my ears (FYI, I do have somewhat small ears though). Overall, for the very appealing price of about $70, this was a great purchase!
