These night sights, NOT "high viz"/fiber optic sights, have tritium in them, which is actually tiny nuclear particles, which sealed inside, will provide illumination for 10 years, plus.... My Glock 23 that I bought in 1995, came with them installed....& they still glow! They are noticeably more dim, yet you can still see them in total darkness, ie; inside of a house with no lights on....you do not NEED the rear sight clamp/vise tool, if you are handy & capable, they can be done with a punch, front sight tool/or ground down socket, & a hammer, do protect each hit with a thick cloth or piece of leather....I highly recommend night sights on any & all handguns that will be used in the protection of self, family & home....They are excellent!! & a great investment as well.....Hope this helps!...& hey, I'm not the authority on all, so do some research!!....Be well, do well & God bless y'all.Read full review

I will say right off the bat I am biased, I have been running Trijicon for years and their products have always been top quality. That being said these sights are no different, yes there is cheaper sights maybe just as bright or brighter but you will not get a more consistent top quality no returns product.
