Nice part! WILL NOT FIT A NITRO RUSTLER WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
I bought a nitro Rustler about 20 years ago and every few years I bring it back out, use it for a while, and then I pack it away again till the next time. Always been a great little truck, and as with most nitro RC vehicles, if you like replacing parts it will not disappoint you! Always breakin stuff. This time around I decided to upgrade the front A-arms, steering blocks, and caster blocks, and I found an article online posted by Traxxas with all the necessary part numbers. The truck in the article was an electric truck, but I thought nothing of it. I figured it's probably the same truck with some differences where the motor and batteries mount. Well, not so. The A-arms are the same shape, but the wheel hub/steering area is very different. I wound up having to go on Traxxas's web ... I bought a nitro Rustler about 20 years ago and every few years I bring it back out, use it for a while, and then I pack it away again till the next time. I wound up having to go on Traxxas's web site to basically buy parts from the electric model until I'd replaced everything in the general vicinity of the wheel attachment. If you own a nitro Rustler and want to use these steering blocks, you'll also need new caster blocks, the stub-shaft that the wheel threads on to (with pin), new wheel nuts, new plastic hexagon feature that the front wheel fits onto, new front wheels, and new hinge pins for the A-arm to cater block interface, as well as a hinge pin for the caster block to steering block interface. You may need new A-arms too, but I don't know for sure since I was replacing my A-arms anyway.

These steering blocks are amazing!!! They reduce most if not all play from plastic steering blocks... I had an aluminum castor and plastic steering block and the plastic blocks kept wearing down to the point they had to be replaced... these are great so far...

Steering Blocks were an exact replacement for my traxxas Rustler with no issues. The original poly broke so these should be a stronger upgrade and they look great as well!
