Like I said in my review of Season 3, Part 1, this season was a major smack in the face to children who were attached to the Transformers cartoon. It abruptly jumps in time to coincide with the 1985 movie and doesn't explain the disappearance of certain characters. Where did Warpath and Powerglide go? Hound? Lets face it, the whole cartoon was a commercial for the new toy line. The animation was inconsistent and sloppy for the most part and the only positive thing I can say about this season is, The Return of Optimus Prime, which happens later in this DVD set. If you are a completest like me, you have to get this season, but don't spend a lot of money on it. Just be glad they brought back Optimus and fixed their terrible 1985 movie blunder.
I love the old g1 transformers cartoons. I prefer season 1 and 2 better, because its has better episodes, and I like those transformers more than the ones in season 3. The disc's work fine, and sound quality is good. Rhino did a great job reviving an old classic. The main reason I bought this set, was to complete all 5 complete boxed sets of the g1 transformers cartoon series.

Amazing cartoon, ends the best series of the transformers and compleates any good collection. it has brought back alot of good memories from my childhood and i cant get enough of watching this.. and i have my kid watch this series too.. much better for children then the new version of it
I needed this set to complete my Transformers Generation 1 DVD collection. I knew that I wouldn't be disappointed. As you watch the final season you just hope that never ends. Digitally remastered with 5.1 Dolby Digital make it even more exciting than when I was a little tike!
