My dog is a medium sized (45lb) 9 month old Aussie... you know, boundless energy and enthusiasm! I was the only one who could walk him as he was too strong for the rest of the family. I saw the Instant Trainer while looking for a choker, thinking it looks more humane, yet being skeptical that out would work. I'm here to tell you, it's like I have a new dog! He is transformed from the first time we used it. My 3 year old granddaughter walks him now! I don't know exactly how this works, but it's magic!

It’s as if a piece is missing, another separate ring for the back & a way to make the loop around the back part of the dog. So disappointed. I use it as a spare(leave in the car) leash, just in case I miscount & don’t bring enough leashes for my dog(s).

The theory is good. It could work very well but the connector ring is very weak and snaps apart with very little resistance. A solid ring may make this a great training tool.once the ring breaks it renders the leash useless. We bought 5 of them and it broke on all of them.

I did read all they had listed about the leash. I did look at the packaging also. It depicts a large dog definitely over 30 lbs. The canvas strap is thin, and the clasp is made for light weight dogs. Just don't buy it if you have a medium to large dog. Defiantly a small dog leash.

I own a 100lb German shepard that would drag me on walks! 1st try finally a relaxing walk on a loose leash! Then tried it on my 8week old puppy first time she just walked like she had had several training sessions
