My son bought wedge. Encouraged me to purchase one. Best advice on golf received in long ty time. Easy to hit.. Flies high . Ball lands softly. Very satisfied. Inexpensive, yet great club.

Effortless to hit out of the bunker and from thick lies. It doesn't play well from tight lies and doesn't have a lot of carry distance. The grip could be softer to give better feed back on delicate shots around the green.

Just after I received it, I went out on the range and started hitting from the sand. Deep lies, shallow lies, hard sand, soft sand, even in foot prints, I managed to get the ball out without a lot of effort. I really love my 56 Cleveland CG14 it replaces, and granted, the Cleveland feels better as a chipping & pitching wedge, but I just left too many balls in the sand. Maybe I can take out a long iron and carry both...

This wedge does make it easier to get out of the sand. But nothing is magic and you still need to practice using it to make it effective. At the price, it's just as good as the wedges advertised for more than twice the price.

I have tried several of the entries into this growing group of 'easy to hit' wedges, and this one seems to be one of the best. It is well made and considering the price it is a solid choice. It does require a bit of practice to get totally comfortable. Setup with it is slightly different than a standard wedge but once figured out it does pay good dividends.
