After finding out that I need both knees replaced, I started to collect as much information on the subject that I could. This book takes you from exercises preparing for surgery, through every day of surgery and post-op rehabilition, and into the rest of your life. It it written by a physical therapist who had to have his knees replaced so this is a person who has been through it and can give a realistic view of what this journey will be like for anyone who has to take it. I believe in being prepared and having as much information as possible and this book provides it all. It should be required reading for anyone contemplating TKR.
