In the time this Camera was active on the Market it cost over $500 dollars and was an Excellent middle-market digital camera purchase for Y2K compliance supported by the fact that it has USB connectivity. I personally enjoyed this camera trouble-free for about 5 years before I spent another $1000 dollars for a Canon Rebel. To compare this Camera to anything on the post-Y2K Market today would be absolutely unjust in that you comparing a Senior to a Teen that would be at opposite ends of the price scale. For whatever price you might buy it in used condition, it will be an excellent entry level choice for ease of use and connectivity to todays USB compatable computers without spending too much money. It would be recommended that you buy it along with all the original accessories because support may otherwise be limited.Read full review
Smart media is not the most available digital media today. This camera lacks many useful features such as optical zoom. The picture quality is fair at best. I disposed of this camera and purchased a Canon A-520. No comparison. My best advise is stay away, no matter what the price!
Great beginning digital camera. I used mine new and used it four years before upgrading for more megapixels and better zoom. You get what you pay for.
I have used this camera for a few years and never had a problem with it. Good pictures and rechargeable battery lasts pretty long time.
