I just ordered the new Toshiba FlashAir updated W-03 wireless SD memory card, and while I love the concept and it does indeed work, it was difficult to get it to become operational because the programmers at Toshiba have no concept of what "USER FRIENDLY" really means! First off, though it is a Toshiba product, they sold the operational software to GOOGLE PLAY and if you want to use a portable tablet like most photographers will, the software download is NOT available from Toshiba and is NOT available through a normal internet search! You have to go to GOOGLE PLAY to download it, which means you have to sign up for one of Google Play's silly accounts even if you don't want to, although the download is free. The nuisance level though is high, and it's kind of like you buying a new Chevrolet, but damn you have to go to the Ford dealer to get a set of keys to be able to make it work! What Toshiba was thinking, I'll never know! ALSO, and this is VERY important, NOWHERE in the instructions does it give you their out-of-the-box secret code to allow your camera to 'talk' to the SD card! It took me two calls to their tech enter before the guy told me, hey, we've a secret code so that on startup it will work for you! And why, I would like to ask, couldn't they put that in the instructions??? Hmmmmm! Anyway, I do recommend it, but just be aware it can be a pain to get it functioning! PLUS one more thing, my SD transmits photos from my Canon DSLR to my notebook, but they do NOT appear to be 'saved'.....as soon as I break the wi-fi connection out in the field while taking pictures, my image files in my tablet disappear! This might be something that I am doing wrong, but even so, I recommend you get the bugs out of yours before you try any heavy duty photo sessions that may end in a disaster........just giving you a heads up based on my experience!Read full review

Using the card as a regular SD card... it's fast and reliable. When transferring photos through the Wireless setup it crawls; copying by cut and paste is much faster. Overall Toshiba gave it a good try but missed the mark.

It is very convenient to be able to instantly view photos video files right off the camera, but the data transfer rate still can use improvement. But for the price, it is still a great value!

Thanks to this SD card and with the best value on the market only on sinceritytrading you can get out your old DSLRs and use them again, transferring instantly your pictures and videos through wifi up to 3Mb/s directly to your smartphone or computer. I bought the first 16gb about 4 years ago and was surprised that this new version of 32gb I just received is about 3 times faster than the old one. It's a must have device for photographers, why spend on adapters and wifi enabled DSLRs when you can upgrade with such a cheap tweak.
