i like this video because there are a lot of positive messages given in a very appropriate way to parents and most importantly their children. there are different subjects covered in a kid friendly way all dealing with children acting inappropriately. i have four year old twins, a two year old and all five of us(including my husband and myself)find this video to be a nice way of exploring what goes on when children act like children, that are stressed, tired , confused, angry , or simply do not know how to deal with whatever emotions they are feeling. this video is a very cute and calming way of making a stressful situation a little less unnerving for all involved. i would definately recommend this especially for parents, like my husband, that have a hard time exerting patience when you have one or more children screaming, for whatever the reason, it reminds you everyone goes through these things and your children are no different then anyone elses in that matter, so take a deep breath and focus on your child/children not on whoever else may be present. your children are more important than whatever so and so might whisper or the people next to you might be thinking of the temper tantrum they just witnessed.Read full review
I work with fosrer children and their families and I use this video to help promote proper time out techniques. The children seems to be able to follow the animation and song better than a regualar video because it brings it down to their level of thought process. Parents seem to be able to relate to the parenting part of the video as well. I would highly recomend this vidoe for families and profecionals.
This is a great learning tool and was very effective with my daughter (3 yrs) Plus she likes watching it anuway, even when shes not in time out.
