At first this seems like a ridiculously expensive pad. However, when considering the durability, the insulation it provides and comfort that this pad provides combined with its amazing lightweight, this pad is actually an exceptional value and has now become a critical part of my kit.

As advertised. Very light and very comfy, but a bit noisy when you move about. Size is just large enough for a 6' 2'' 185 lb individual to tuck their arms at their side for back sleepers. Any smaller and this wouldn't fit, so a large is a must for back sleepers who don't want arms dangling off the edge. The family has all been testing it laying on top of hardwood in front of the fireplace. Thusfar, thumbs up and a good rest from all.

So warm! I hammocked in about 28 degrees F with a warm sleeping bag also and was quite comfy...I like it best inside my sleeping bag.

This pad is the best that I have yet. I have the xlite, zlite, prolite plus and this is superior to these in its qualities. Lightweight and not as noisey as the xlite.I would buy the wide because your arms won't hang off also. I mean why buy a warm pad for winter and let you arms lie on the ground or rolled up clothes? It's expensive but worth the cost .

I had mistakenly bought two of the regular width - which sufficed - but those extra inches add even more!
