Eric Bana (Munich) is Henry DeTamble and Rachel McAdams (Red Eye) is Clare Abshire. Henry has a genetic disorder that causes him to pop in and out of time. During one of his appearances he meets Clare and she falls in love with him. Over the course of her life the two continue to bump into each other and they form a relationship. Only problem is Clare never knows when Henry will be back, if at all. The movie is based on the novel by Audrey Niffenegger and follows pretty much along the story told by that book. This is definitely a tear jerk-er type movie but it is well done and you really get into the characters. The actors play their roles perfectly and the directing is well above average. Get this one and watch it with your loved one, you will thank yourself later for that.
How a person could love a time traveler when she has so many different people out there that would be there for her during her time of need. No just disappear, not knowing when you will show up again. But it's a good movie. Parts of it I really didn't like how she lost her baby then they figure she's a time traveler also. A little weird. Also how their child talks to the time traveler twin and plays with her. You dont see Eric Bana talking to himself and getting information. But I decided to buy it because it seemed different and interesting.
Some aspects of the story did not match up, but that may have occurred in translation from book to movie. The concept was intriguing and makes me curious to read the book.

it starts off with henry going back in time before he and his mom get in an accident.he travels back to his home and thenback to the scene of the accident, where his older self tells him noit to worry that he is a time traveler.then he meets this girl who apparently loves and knows him and has known him most her life.she tells him she kept a diary of the times they met.eventually they get married.the whole story is pretty much the different times the spend together even though they do not sepnd time together.he ccomes and goes in time and the girl deals with henry in different stages of his life.they have a daughter to who has the time traveling abilites. i was not all that impressed by the movie.it was just o.k. for me.the book is probably better then the film.
Time travel sequences can be confusing...this may need to be viewed more then once to appreciate plot...but love special features that describe movie creation.
