This version is a re-mastered version and looks great. This particular set includes the original, re-mastered version as well as the 1st C.B. DeMille's 1923 silent version of the Ten Commandments. .

One of the best movies ever made! I thought it was the original, but Cecil B. DeMille had made an earlier version in the '20s. It's included for historical reference. Makes interesting viewing, comparing the changes in movie technology over 30 years (including color!) Heston's Moses is immortal, and Yul Bryner makes a worthy opponent. Overall great casting throughout, and unlike so many film adaptations, it treats the original story with respect and honor. Highly recommended for all audiences!
