The recipes in this book are mostly ones that an ordinary cook could perform without any problems. There is nothing too exotic in the book. The thing that I particularly liked concerning the recipes was that it told you what you should prepare at home, before going tailgating, and then told you how to finish preparing it at the site. In this way, you are not going to be chained to the grill, or in preparation the entire day. I thought this was a very interesting aspect of the book. The recipes are divided up by appetizers, main courses, sides, desserts, drinks and special menus (4th of July, breakfasts, and Thanksgiving). The recipes are well-done and easy to follow. The print is larger then normal and all recipes are in bold. If you are only getting one book of recipes for tailgating, this might be your choice.Read full review
