This is basically the Motown "Merry Christmas" album that was released in 1965. It is a great collection of tunes suited for Holiday cheer and is traditional for the celebration of this festive time of year. Diana Ross provides the outstanding lead vocals she is noted for on each melody. Christmas favorites as "White Christmas," "Silver Bells," "The Little Drummer Boy," "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" and "Joy To The World" are among the original 12 tracks. There is the tune "Twinkle Twinkle Little Me" that is also a highlight and adds to the fun of this compilation. Unlike the album this CD contains four bonus tracks. The fourth of which is "Silent Night." It is a solo-lead performed meticulously by Florence Ballard. This is one of those rare occasions (with Motown) in which Florence is able to unleash her operatic like voice and power to deliver such a hauntingly beautiful rendition of this seasonal classic. It's a wonder why it was not included on the original release. Such a great treat for us longstanding Supremes fans! The CD is a jewel for addition to any holiday music collection.Read full review

This is a great compilation of the Supremes for Christmas! My family had the actual 33RPM recording for years and often listened to it so that prompted me to buy the CD.
