This is a very interesting story about how the author found out that the man he thought was his father was not. With DNA testing for genealogy so common now, this will be happening to a lot of people. However, the author is in fantasy land about his birth father so, mentally, I don't know if I would consider him a role model. He is on and on "If my father had known about me, he would have done all these nice things" when, in fact, he probably would have been really unhappy that he had to explain this kid to his wife.

I found out I had a “stranger in my Genes” also. The book helped me gain a greater understanding on how to deal with it. It hit home on many points. Bill has dealt with this new life lesson in a classy way. He is a positive role model for me.
