I found that the content of the book is offered as video lessons and much more on Ancestry. The book was New but many of the pages were stuck together and a few tore in spots when I tried to separate them and the illustrations were washed out and many were not legible, it really wasn't worth the read. I wouldn't recommend the book.

My wife has been doing a lot of genealogical research, so we joined Ancestry.com. We quickly learned there was more information, in more places, on ancestry.com than we could find. We needed a guide, so we checked some books out of the library. This particular book contained more information and was better organized than any of the others. It was so good we quickly bought one on ebay. It details every aspect of ancestry.com, with directions on how to find specific data bases, conduct searches, and many more activities. Whether you are new to Ancestry.com, or a seasoned user, you'll find new and fascinating information in this book.
