This series is probably the best television that America didn't watch. Aaron Sorkin is the creator and did most of the writing for the series and he specializes in great dialog and complicated layers of stories. This season is engaging stuff and by this time in the story lines we've become attached to the characters and their motivations. Aside from news items that you're familiar with incorporated into the story lines, there are love triangles everywhere you look. It moves pretty fast and I had to watch a few episodes a second time to get it all, but, fortunately, it's well worth watching over. If you like fast and snappy dialogue, engaging stories intelligently presented, you can't go wrong with The Newsroom.
Surpassed the first season episodes. First truly in-your-face show about what it means to deal with the truth in news. Daring, well-acted, superbly-written, better than any mystery or suspense story. Characters are very real with real problems faced in real ways. No holds barred in this series!
