Notes
Twilight Promenade was intended, at it's inception, to be an homage to the early Nashville sound. It's impetus was the stark vocals/guitar/fiddle demos that were developing after TNBH's first album, Trauermusik. It was going to be recorded live to four track over a couple evenings. But while Roland, Tiffani and Jim were working out the song's arrangements in the local clubs around Nashville, it was decided that a more three dimensional production would benefit all the creative ideas that were developing. The amps were rolled in, Tele's tuned up, and it was a new dynamic and ultimately a far different album. Whilst We Be Going, The Promise and the intro to I Can't Imagine are what's left of the original concept. The results are a more cinematic soundscape for the cast of transients that reside amongst these songs.
