I bought this book because I was recently diagnosed with food allergies, including dairy. I just could not imagine living without dairy! I was raised on one bitg glass of milk at dinner. Ice cream is the best dessert. So you can imagine my relief at finding this helpful book, especially all of the recipes that work not just for me, but also for my family.
I bought it because I am allergic to milk products. I did find some tips that I found useful. I have not tried any of the recipes yet but have found the information about how to cook and what to cook inspiring to try a recipe.
With a family member who is deadly allergic to all things milk and even milk derivitives.... it's nice to have a resource that offers an array of delicious recipies designed without milk in mind. I have tried several recipies, so far, and am very pleased.
