This is great movie and it puts a different twist & ending to the classical story of the same name. It really is good show and not as "scarey' to smaller children. I'd seen a few times many yrs ago and it also brought back many good memories. A+ one not to miss.
it was fun to watch it again after so many years. i also transfered it to DVD and that cleaned it up a little. but it was pretty decent for VHS. i was happy to find a copy on anything period because it is surprisingly hard to find, i guess since it was a made for TV movie.
This was just an average film with good actors-Meg Foster and jeff Goldbaum but it dragged alot and did not show much of the Headless Horseman. it was not very suspensefull and at times very boring. I am sorry I purchased this VHS. Others take my advice and forget this one.
I thought this movie would be a serious rendition of Irving's tale. Unfortunately, it was a dull and boring comedy. I should have caught on when I saw Dick Butkus' name in the cast. I forced myself to sit through it only because I paid for it. If you're interested in a serious version of this tale, stay away from this movie.
This a cute, telling of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, no surprises. If you are a Jeff Goldblum fan, this is a must have for your collection. Otherwise, if you just like the story, this is a good, kid friendly version of the classic.
