It's more fit for diabetics than for Rick gallop's gi diet, which would expect lighter ingredients. Most of these are in yellow rather than green light recipes, which was a bit disappointing.
I wish I had done more research before selecting this cookbook. It wouldnt be bad if it contained normal foods. It maybe healthy, it may taste great, but half the stuff I vouldnt get over the physical appearance to eat. Lots of items for fish, lamb, and not so much on items that everyday people have waiting to serve up.
Recipes and info in the book were very good. Pictures were not all that appealing though. Well worth the price.
