The Food Pharmacy
This is one of the best books I have ever read. It gives clear, concise information on the fruits and vegetables we should be including in our diet to fight cancer, heart disease, infections, etc. Each food is listed individually and indicates what benefits it has and what diseases/problems it can help to alleviate. So much research and information was provided that I can't help but refer to this book time and time again to improve my own health. I already had the softcover version and decided to purchase the hardcover since I practically wore the other one out! I recommend this book to everyone who is trying to live and eat healthier!

Prescribing The Food Pharmacy
I bought a copy of The Food Pharmacy at a local bookstore several months ago. Thoroughly impressed with this, I passed it on to a coworker. The book is simple to understand, and easy to read. Full of interesting information on many of the simple foods we can purchase at our local grocery. Showing us foods that are better to eat for a healthier self. So often it seems easier to grab a Snickers to curb our appetite, when in reality it is as easy to grab an apple with better consequences. The Food Pharmacy, 1988 Bantam Books
