I have used the Firm Video series for years and when I have done their workouts 3-4 times a week, I always lost weight and saw visible results, as they promise. They are exteremly convenient as you can do the workouts in your own home at any time. No gym required! I also love how the workouts are structured, pairing a weight bearing exercise usually followed by a cardio sequence. It really keeps your heartrate up burning more calories and gives you a cardio workout for your heart while strengthening your muscles at the same time. I needed to purchase this DVD version of the 3 pack Firm series because the age of VMS is over and I want to start building my workout DVD collection. I have no dislikes about these DVD's; all 3 are awesome! I recommend these Firm DVD's to anyone that asks!
The Firm videos....really any of them really do the job. I don't always like the workouts, usually don't love the music, but the box says guaranteed visible results in 10 workouts or less, and it's true, I see results after doing their videos once or twice.....they are the leaders in cross training with weights from way back when everyone else was just doing aerobics. They are always on the cutting edge, and the workouts are excellent....they also have others in the video doing multi-level workouts, so you can start in whatever shape you are in, from beginner to advanced.
I already had this video on VHS and had to get it on DVD so that I could exercise in different rooms. It is a fun work out video! The instructor, Allie, is really good and she is easy to follow. The video really works and you can see results in less than 10 workouts! They aren't lying!!
I love The Firm, its a great workout. The Cardio Sculpt is my favorite. I have used many different workouts in the past and I always go back to The Firm. When I first get back to do the workout I can't do the whole thing but you still feel amazing after you do as much as you can.
This workout is great if you need to target your thighs. It is no substitute for cardio like bikeriding, jogging, hiking..etc. But if you need to build up your endurance so that you can start one of those programs it is great. Or, if you need an indoor workout because you're in between true cardio (due to weather ot time) it's a great filler.
