This book is a fascinating comparison between the management-style and personal integrity of Hershey and Mars. Both men built chocolate empires, but from two vastly different perspectives. Hershey was known as a kind, humanitarian with a desire to create utopia where workers could live in comfort and happiness. Mars was a tyrant, but brilliant businessman who eschewed corporate high-handedness for the bottom line. Lots of fascinating insights about the chocolate industry and how both companies are run today. Excellent.
Interesting story of chocolate and chocolate production in the last 150 years.
