My first introduced to Brom was "The Child Thief". I absolutely loved it and have since become a little obsessed with collecting as many of his other books as I can. I was blessed to come across this hardcover version of this book here on ebay and I can now add it to my (hopefully) ever-growing Brom collection.

And you should DEFINITELY pick up this book. The story is a strange one, going from Hell to the American west and back, all the while telling the story of Cole, the undead bounty hunter from Hell, his past, his plans, and showing his great evolution in character. The enemies are fierce, the story is complex and saddening, and the art is astounding. Brom is a first-rate artist, and his full color paintings and smaller sketches throughout the book really pull things along perfectly. My only gripe is the fact that I want more, and as of yet, Brom has not written more. But hopefully, we can see more of this story from him, as there is much left to be told. In short, get this. You won't be disappointed.
This is one of the few illustrated books you can find out there that is not only written but also illustrated by the same artist

This book has really great artwork with an original story. Something that is very hard to find these days. It can be a great gift for the cowboy genre, vampire genre or motorcycle enthusiast genre fans. It is definitely NOT for the kiddos, but well written and a page turner for sure. I don't know if it is the first of a series (it easily could be), or a one-shot. Either way, the story and artwork make a really good combination. Check it out!
We have all heard the story, Ghostrider is kind of a copy of it. But Brom has done this in a unique and detailed way that I had not read before. it was well written, and the pictures are awesome. Very engageing. A page turner.
