  • Great Book for All Ages

The Dangerous Books for Boys is a well-humored approach on how technology has changed our life and habits. As I am in my early 30s, fortunately I had the chance to live in my childhood the time when street play and hand crafted toys were the normal thing for a kid to do and enjoy. Computers and video games were available, but using them was one of the options that we had at that time, not the only option as today's kids have, or at least seem to prefer over any other more "archaic" thing. These were times when things didn't go too fast, didn't need to be immediate and, most importantly, making real friends was easier. Things could be found (sometimes with some hard work) by browsing a book at the library or through any other method of extensive research, and the pleasure of discovering ...

  • good book

My mom wouldn't let me go to summer camp because she thought I would drown in a lake. Consequently, I couldn't use a power tool until I was twenty-five years old. And I still can't tie a decent knot. If only I'd had this book! Especially the chapter about girls. Absolutely crucial information for any boy and it's written by witty and learned authors. I've already bought a copy for my three-year-old so

  • Great For Sunday Afternoons!

This is a great book for a quiet Sunday afternoon when nothing seems to be happening and you want to stir up a little excitement. It's basically like the old Popular Mechanics magazines, boiled down to their most compelling, with extra content (like how to write secret codes, short biographies of famous people and a brief history of ten famous battles, to name just a few) and in a hardcover book form! It's awesome!

  • My Boys Are Reading It For the Third Time!

I am impressed. This book is full of all sorts of nifty ideas for boys to explore and create. It is well written and easy to understand for any age. I also like the bits of history spread throughout the book. This is a homeschooling moms dream come true! They will learn how to tie different types of knots, make their own bow and arrow, trip wires, how to hunt prey, and so much more! It is a joy watching my boys try all the things they read about!

  • The Dangerous Book for Boys

This is a great book full of information that can be used by anyone! It is especially useful for a boy that is interested in reading and has topics ranging from knots to wars to treehouse building!
