I felt misled by this book's title. It says, "The Art of Distilling Whiskey and Other Spirits", which implies that there's some nuts and bolts info in here about not just whiskey, but, you know, "spirits"--witch hazel, nut and flavor extracts, essential oils, perfumes, etc. Instead, it was a sort of yearbook or "Who's Who" of artisan distillers and master distillers, which is okay if that's your interest, but definitely more Artisan than Art and definitely not a "guide to distilling." Nuts to Bill Owens and his misnomers.
This is not a how to book, it is informational only, nice coffee table book but no other real use. If you are looking to make moonshine, do not buy this.
