Magnificent collection of the memorable Superman. His arguments are simple but entertaining. They offer us a picture of the early days of the Superman movies. The pack is very well preserved. Color image quality is very good, considering the time it was made. The option of subtitles in another language is an added value to these DVDs. I must say that the seller's attention was attentive, fast and efficient. I am satisfied with this purchase.

I used to watch THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN as a kid growing up. I remember the first two seasons as taking on more serious subjects. However, I enjoyed the later seasons as well. I didn't know these shows were filmed in color. Unfortunately, there were only B/W television sets at the time. I remember, in 1959, showing my next door neighbor the headlines in the LA TIMES of George Reeves' death. I'm sure other kids wondered how "Superman" could die. But, there it was in bold print on the front page. I'm glad the show is available in its entirety on dvd and I found the discs to be in perfect condition. It was well worth the price. I am an avid Superman collector and I absolutely enjoyed this series starring George Reeves. This is the series that first put Superman in the sky on the small screen. There was of course the radio series and the original movie screen shorts starring Kirk Alyn. The problem with the movie shorts is that Kirk Alyn always ran everywhere he went. There was NO FLYING involved. For us Superman fans, George Reeves actually flying was the icing on the cake as George Reeves brought Superman full circle with his flight and Superman's other powers and abilities. The 1rst and 2nd seasons of the Superman TV series was in black and white whereas the 3rd & 4th seasons of the show are now in color. This was just a wonderful show that delighted millions. I highly recommend this series as part of any Superman fans ultimate collection.Read full review
the George Reeves Superman set the standard, raised the bar..for entertainment and moral lessons for children in the 50's. Season 3 & 4 are in color.. delightful today on our big screens. a Slice of History and Heros, good for all audiences.. when times were simpler, when even the "bad guys" kept their word.
