I used this book in conjunction with The 7 Habits Workbook for my teenage son. This book is very well written. Contains numerous graphics to help the preteen and teen understand the topic. Each habit or something that the teen will come across sometime in their life is written so that it is humorous but easy to understand. This book gives assignments for the workbook based upon the chapter you are reading. Sean Covey has a talent with teens, just like his father does with adults. I recommend this to parents with both preteens and teens. Parents may even enjoy reading it as well.
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens is a great book to read, not only for just teens, but some of the ideas presented in this book also apply to adults. The great thing though is Covey doesn't go outright and say "you must do this". The book is more written through examples and shows different angles that you can look at a situation, and thereby see the best course of action. A great thing also is that this book is really simple to read. There are multiple pictures, and charts, and the language is easy to understand. Anyone can really enjoy this book without being bored.

He instantly remembers or hl goes to check and updates me. He referenced it himself when a circumstance occurred. Sometimes you have to think about others. I purchased this book to give to a troubled teen. Falling into the wicked lifestyle of drugs, alcohol, and improper behavior, this teen needs all the love he can get. Anger fills his life and his parents are having a great deal of trouble dealing with him. He needs guidance in every way possible. Creating the correct goals and habits could help turn his life around. Along with this book, the prayers of everyone that reads this review will help to give this your 18 year old hope and guidance.If more people would give help like this, we could start to change the world of many people.
After reading the first 10 pages; I assessed the book to be a "must have" for teens of all ages. I would like ten (10) more copies and will be ordering them. The teens introduced thus far liked it. The 7 Habits are essential to help teens achieve a good foundation to live by; not just at teens; once achieve, these habits will be beneficial to them as successful adults.
